Rich Mouser
"I started recording at the age of 14 when I discovered that if you unsolder the erase head on a tape machine (my dad's Sony 1/4" 2-track) I could record without erasing the part I had just played. That was enough to get me hooked on the studio. At 17, I bought a 1/4" 4-track, at 20 a 1/2" 8-track and quickly went to a 2" 16-track, then finally an MCI JH 24-track, which I still have today. I immerse myself in whatever project I'm involved in . . . becoming the new/extra member for that span of time."
